Elena Solovyeva

Elena is a solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales and is also an advocate qualified in Russia. Elena has over 20 years of international legal experience. She brings a hands‑on, commercially focused approach and a rare combination of contentious and non‑contentious expertise. Elena spent more than 13 years at leading City of London law firms, where she developed deep experience in complex commercial litigation, insolvency disputes, trusts, asset and business structuring and fraud matters.

Elena previously worked for several years alongside Andrew Terry, advising high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, with an emphasis on the CIS region, on structuring and tax matters.

Elena’s experience has continuously involved advising on the use of trusts, corporate and other entities in international asset and business ownership structures. Elena now applies all that experience for the benefit of Rocquaine’s clients.

Elena is fluent in English (having spent over 15 years living and working in London) and is a native Russian speaker. She also has a working understanding of several European languages.
