Rocquaine was launched in 2020 as a boutique consultancy and tax practice in the UK working alongside locally regulated trust and fiduciary practices initially in Guernsey, Jersey and Wyoming, whom we refer to as our "business partners", to provide clients with an integrated solution.

In May 2025 the Financial Services Commission Mauritius authorised Rocquaine (Mauritius) Limited, a Mauritian Global Business Company ("Rocquaine Mauritius"), to commence operations in Mauritius as a Managed Corporate Services Provider.

Rocquaine, at this stage of its development, remains outside the regulatory net in all jurisdictions other than Mauritius and does not hold itself out as conducting any activities requiring regulation in any jurisdiction other than Mauritius. Nothing in this website should be interpreted to the contrary in any manner whatsoever.

The genesis of Rocquaine was the coming together of like-minded principals with complementary skills, each expert and experienced in his own field. The principals shared the view that existing service providers often struggle in complying with the increasingly complex needs of their significant clients and the demands those needs place on their resource available for oversight to meet regulatory expectations. Those needs often expanded at a rate faster than the service provider’s ability to keep pace.

Rocquaine is mindful of sanctions applied internationally since 2022 in relation to specific countries, and to persons involved anywhere in any activities or business sector of strategic significance to the government of any sanctioned country. Rocquaine is alert to the identification of connections of any kind, of clients or of assets or business activities they are connected with, on whom or which sanctions have any bearing. Rocquaine, for itself and in support of its business partners, will take all appropriate steps to support the activities of its clients where sanctions have no bearing and to react appropriately and in line with its legal and professional responsibilities where areas of concern in relation to sanctions are identified.
